What Is It Like?

Mt. Abram High School
Maybe not to you but I thought that spending some time with Poland Spring was a great experience. We learned new things and met new people. The people we got to work with were nice people, they treated us with respect and should have gotten just that back. We spent a full day outside working with them and doing different activities and it was very cold. We learned about temperatures, both water and air, measurements, water, and nature.
We were lucky to get to have that experience. We got to work with nice and friendly people. They respected us and treated us well, and they should have gotten all of that back. They took time out of their day to be with us and help us learn, and I am very thankful for that. We had a great time with them and I enjoyed it.
We spent a lot of time outside with them. We got to work with temperatures, water, and we just took a nice nature walk and reflected on that. It was quite a cold fall day, but it was beautiful outside. I had a great time and thought it was a very nice experience. We also got to share some of the things that we learned.
We did some different activities dealing with different things. We took the temperatures of the water and air in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. We measured how any gallons of water went through a certain area. We also timed it to see how long that it took the water. We also worked with a lot of math in the process.
I was kind of surprised when we were told that Poland Spring was coming to our school. Our Freshman Team sort of gave us a summary of what would happen. They also went over some of the things we would learn. We were told to ask questions when needed, but only if they were appropriate. It was a great experience for all of us. I would like to thank both the Freshman Team for their hard work and for putting this together, and Poland Spring for taking their time to come to our school and teach us new things.
