     I wrote this on-line comment a few days ago in response to an article in the Sun Journal. The Friends of Maine’s Mountains was challenging ownership of a parcel of mountaintop previously thought to belong to the town of Carthage, but to which they have just received title.

I told you about the wonderful work this group does for people with cognitive and intellectual disabilities in Western Maine. In meeting with Rick Dorian, the Executive Director, I realized how fortunate I was and also began the uncomfortable discussion on how I refer to his consumers.
