1953-2008 — He loved his home State of Maine

NORTH ANSON — Bruce Wayne Frederic, 55, of Farmington, died unexpectedly Saturday Oct. 18, 2008, as the result of a motor vehicle accident.

He was born May 21, 1953, in Farmington, the son of Burton and Joan (Paquette) Frederic. He was a graduate of Madison High School and attended the University of Maine, Farmington.

On May 16, 1975, he married Judith Ann Jordan in Farmington. He was a self-employed carpenter and loved his home State of Maine where he enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing golf. He was Boston Red Sox and Celtics fan.

He is survived by his wife, Judy, of Farmington; their daughter, Katherine "Kate" Frederic Morton and her husband, John, of Astoria, N.Y.; his mother, Joan Frederic of Skowhegan; two brothers, Dana Frederic and his wife, Margaret "Peggy," of Pinole, Calif. and Eric Frederic and his wife, Darcy, of Manchester, N.H.; and one sister, Kim Frederic-Klein and her husband, Jay, of Arizona.

He was predeceased by his father.

Public memorial services will be held Thursday evening, Oct. 23, 2008 at 8 p.m. from the Wiles Remembrance Center, 137 Farmington Falls Rd., (Routes 2 and 27) Farmington, with Rev. Alan Shumway officiating. Family and friends are invited to visit with family at a memorial visitation from 4 to 7 p.m.
