Bridging the gap Organizers and Kingfield residents, Sue Jones, Lee-Ann Provencher and their helpers, were out last Saturday reverse trick-or-treating, delivering hot meals and visiting elderly residents in Kingfield. Reverse trick-or-treating is the process of going door-to-door to give treats rather then receive them while at the same time visiting town residents. On this day, the young group had 42 residents to visit throughout the town. Personnel for contractor St. Laurent & Son install holding tanks and beds for the Kingfield subsurface wastewater system at Gilmore Field in Kingfield. The project started Oct. 13 and the system should be operational before Nov. 20. The system will process wastewater from the nearby Poland Spring Bottling Facility.
