Stacy Rundlett to helm New Portland

(Laura Dunham photo) NEW PORTLAND — Stacy Rundlett, who has been Kingfield's town clerk and involved in some of type of town government for the past four years, has accepted the position as New Portland's new town manager. Rundlett replaces Andrea Reichert who was the town clerk for the past 12 years and has left to accept a position at Poland Spring Company in Kingfield.

Rundlett said that she will continue to help out at the Kingfield town office until a replacement can be found. Rundlett will be working 23 hours a week in New Portland.

The town office is open Monday through Thursday from 11 to 5 p.m. and from 2 to 7 p.m. on Thursday. The first Saturday of each month, added Rundlett, the office will be open.

Rundlett and her husband, Brian, and their family live at the West Village. Rundlett said that she looks forward to working with the other town officials and the people of New Portland.
