PHILLIPS — On Tuesday, Nov. 11 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Phillips Community House on Main Street, the Phillips American Legion Auxiliary will hold its annual Veterans Day Open House.

The last two years the auxiliary has been gathering names of veterans and active military soldiers from the Phillips area. The second phase of this project will start on Nov. 11 with a fundraising drive to honor those veterans. An honor roll will be set in Phillips in the future with the names inscribed in their honor.

It is estimated that the cost of the project will be approximately $7,000. There will be light refreshments on the 11th and the names will be on display.

The public is invited to come by and join the Auxiliary celebrating Veterans Day.
