Halloween haunting a frightening success
      To the editor: Thanks to all who helped make the Halloween haunting a Relay for Life success. A great big thanks to all who took time out of their own busy lives to share ideas, decorate, bake, haunt, greet, sell food, and lend their Halloween treasures.

      To the editor: After reading your "Reflections of Past Glories" article in the sports section of the Oct. 29, 2008 issue of "The Irregular," I must note that at the end of the article you mentioned the guys getting together to play "Legion Ball" as they were coming home from the service.

Thanks for making WMYSA a success
      To the editor: This year the Western Mountains Youth Soccer Association had its inaugural season in North Franklin County, and I want to thank all who helped make it a success. More than 32 busy Mt. Abram students generously volunteered their time and knowledge to help coach the more than 140 kids from kindergarten to sixth grade ages.

      To the editor: Our thanks to Diane and all her GHOULISH friends of Grand Central Station Haunted House for their donation to Relay for Life. It was a lot of work for a lot of scary fun. Too bad if you missed it.

Enjoying nature and learning too
      To the editor: Fall is a very beautiful time with the foliage being so gorgeous. Recently, some students from Mt. Abram High School were very lucky to be able to walk around and pick up nature related items during Water Day.
