Halloween haunting a frightening success
To the editor:
Thanks to all who helped make the Halloween haunting a Relay for Life success.
A great big thanks to all who took time out of their own busy lives to share ideas, decorate, bake, haunt, greet, sell food, and lend their Halloween treasures. And no small thanks to those who attended and donated to the Fiends (oops, I meant Friends) and Family Ties Relay for Life Team. From all reports a good time was had by all at the Haunted House at Grand Central on Saturday, Oct. 25.
Our apologies if we scared the hooha out of you or someone you love, but that's what we're all about.
A great BIG thanks to those who returned the next day for cleanup up duty. You know who you are but you probably have no idea how much you are appreciated.
