To the editor:

After reading your "Reflections of Past Glories" article in the sports section of the Oct. 29, 2008 issue of "The Irregular," I must note that at the end of the article you mentioned the guys getting together to play "Legion Ball" as they were coming home from the service. You left out the name of an excellent baseball player perhaps you have forgotten because he moved away from Kingfield many years ago and now resides in Westbrook.
