Kids Klub underway CARRABASSETT VALLEY — The Sugarloaf Area Christian Ministry recently announced the return of its winter afterschool programs. The Thursday Kids Klub will be starting Thursday, Nov. 13 for youth in 1st through 4th grades. The children will be met when they get off the bus at the Anti- Gravity Complex in Carrabassett Valley and will meet until 5 p.m. Lynn Clark and Pastor Pam Morse are providing this time for our local children. According to Rev. Morse, Kids Klub will include plenty of fun, physical activity, snacks and, of course, a time to explore who God is and how to live in friendship with him. The Monday Kids Klub, geared for children in 5th through 8th grades, began Monday, Nov. 10 at the A.G.C. with the same time frame as the Thursday Klub. Call the church office (237-2304) for more information and to let them know if your child will be joining them. As always, there is no cost for this church-sponsored program which is scheduled to meet weekly (excluding school holidays) until April vacation. The ministry is aware how difficult it is to make time for children to attend Sunday morning school. These two programs offer a way to meet children's needs for more spiritual learning in their lives, Rev Morse noted. |
