MSAD #58 — Thursday, Oct. 30, the schools in MSAD #58 held mock elections just days before the nation went to the polls in an election that's now a piece of history.

Barack Obama won overwhelmingly at Mt. Abram High School and the elementary schools, with the exception of Stratton where McCain won. In the contest between Mike Michaud and John Frary, Michaud took the contest in all the schools except for Strong. The remaining elections results were echoed in the Nov. 4.

The only other exceptions were on Question 2 where the high school voted to allow the casino and Question 3 where Strong voted against the bond money.
