 First grade students in Mrs. Phillips' room in Strong had an attentive audience as they practiced sharing what they have learned this year. Their 7th grade book buddies from Mrs. Ryan's reading class, listened as their younger partners read stories and samples of their writing. Nathan Luce, above left, shares his writing with Cordell Burton. The activity was in preparation for this week's 3-way conference when parents, students and teachers will gather to view evidence of student learning. All students in the five MSAD 58 schools (K-12) will be engaged in 3-way conferences in the weeks leading up to Thanksgiving. (Steve Mitman photo) |
