Holiday Craft Fair returns to Stratton

STRATTON — The Annual Stratton Elementary School's Holiday Craft Fair will be held Saturday, Nov. 22, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. According to the PTC, which hosts this event, it will be fun for all ages.

Pictures with Santa will be taken from 10 a.m. to noon. The All- Star Steel Drum Band will be performing throughout the day and have their CDs for sale. There will be face painting and a room with childcare.

Maine artisans and crafters will be selling handmade items such as: Christmas wreathes, jewelry, hand painted glass and wood, quilts and much more. Each grade will have a table of goods to sell benefiting

their graduating class trip. The PTC's mission is to support the Stratton school and its students. The funds raised provide additional benefits that go beyond those provided by the school district.

The school is located just 10 minutes north of Sugarloaf; take a right off Route 27 at the Stratton Post Office —the school is an eighth of a mile down the road on the right.
