CV Outdoor group sports new photo album
CARRABASSETT VALLEY — The Carrabassett Valley Outdoor Association has a new online photo album and it's filled with scenic shots and people pictures from the group's 2008 outings, Nancy Perry, CVOA member.
"Want to see Tom Spring kissing a fish on Monhegan? Pete Weston sporting a silly hat topped by two cans of beer? The 'wind-up' moose on the hike to Chimney Pond?" Perry asks.
"How about rescuers pulling Freddie and Pat from the Kennebec after their canoe capsized? Or John McCatherin, master chef, grilling chicken at Blueberry Cove? Or the cleanup crew at Crommett?"
There are hundreds of photos in the new album … and they're just a click away, Perry said.
To view, click on the new and improved CVOA web site: www.carrabassettvalleyoutdoorassociation.com. There's a link for "gallery" that contains some memorable shots. There is also see a tag line that says "Wanna look at some photos?" Click on that message and you'll be transported to CVOA's public album on the Picasa Web site.
The album and the web site will be continually updated. If you've got photos you want to post or news you want to share, email them to Nancy Perry at: nperry24420@ roadrunner.com.
