1918-2008 — Her greatest passion in life was her home in West Freeman
      FARMINGTON — Laurie E. Libby Newall Lambert, age 90, died on Nov. 9, 2008, at Pinewood Terrace in Farmington. She was born in New Vineyard, June 15, 1918 to Roxie (Stewart) and Ralph Bernard Libby. Her greatest passion in life was her home in West Freeman, mowing the lawns in the summer and plowing her yard in the winter.

Duane Griffin Lewis Sr.
1936-2008 — He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fly-fishing and hunting
      PHILLIPS — Duane Griffin Lewis, Sr., 72 of 4 Maple Lane in Phillips, died peacefully at home with his loving family at his side Nov. 8, 2008. His fight with cancer was sudden and brief. Duane was born in Boothbay Harbor on July 1, 1936. He was a son to Eldred Raymond and Winnifred Velma Griffin Lewis, graduating from Boothbay High in the class of 1954.

1927-2008 — He served in the U.S. Army during WWII
      FARMINGTON — George E. Lane, 81, of Kingfield, died Friday Nov. 14, 2008, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington. He was born Feb. 21, 1927 in Kingfield, a son of Zelba and Barbara (Atwood) Lane. He received his education in Kingfield schools and was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
