KINGFIELD -- This holiday season why not adopt a grandparent --someone who would enjoy a little boost from a local person or family? There are many local elderly who would love to receive a little something from a friend this holiday.

If you would like to adopt a grandparent for the holidays, contact Sue Jones at the post office. She will set you up with a local senior citizen who you could prepare a meal for and/or bring a gift to. The giving can be done by you or anonymously by getting the items to Jones and the Bridging the Gap program will deliver.
