RANGELEY — The Rangeley Rotary Club invites the public to help them celebrate the holidays by topping off the "Holly Day" Weekend with a Community Christmas Party and Parade of Trees Auction Saturday Dec. 6, at the Gingerbread House.

The evening will include a buffet dinner and Christmas tree auction. The first seating is 5:30 p.m., the auction is at 7 and the second seating is at 7:30. The price is $17.50 for the buffet.

This is the first year of the "Parade of Trees." Local businesses have decorated live evergreen trees with a creative flair.

"Come and bid on these wonderful holiday trees, allow us to make your Christmas a little easier or if you know of someone who would like a special surprise from Santa, then purchase it and the club will deliver it on your behalf. This is a great gift for that someone special who has everything," a spokesperson for the club said.

The public's support will help the Rotary Club continue to sponsor youth programs.
