Old Fashioned Christmas Fair set
SALEM TWP — The Salem Community United Methodist Church will be hosting its 2nd Annual Old Fashioned Christmas Fair on Saturday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church on Route 142 in Salem Village.
The budget-minded shopper will find unique, handcrafted items made by church and community members, including "Mt. Abram Warmest Ever Mittens," fleece Afghans, chocolates, candy and fudge, scarves, beeswax candles, dried flower wreaths, wooden puzzles, tree ornaments and more. Also browse a white elephant table with many gift items and a Christmas table with hundreds of children and adult stocking stuffers and many other novelty items. Fresh greens will be available at $1.50 a bag for all your season decorating ideas.
"Come enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate and a donut!" said a spokesperson for the event.
All proceeds benefit the Salem Mission Fund, dedicated to helping Salem families in need throughout the year.
