The folks at WSKITV 17 want everyone to know that the QuadCam is back on line at Sugarloaf. A lightning strike zapped the cam back in June. The Quad Cam spent much of the summer in California where it was being repaired. Also, check out "From the Archives"! Some great stuff to give new 'Loafers a flavor of the mountain's history!

We are hearing rave reviews about the "Boyne-made snow" on opening weekend at Sugarloaf. Many are saying it's the best opening day ever. Despite the chilly temps, skiers came out in force. That's great to hear… it sure feels like winter!

Don't forget to check out our new Web site: www.theirregular.com. It becomes a subscription site for the current issue beginning Dec. 1. Same address, new look, lots more good stuff including a Photo Gallery - -and it will be updated in the wee hours every Wednesday morning! Everything that is in the Irregular will now be posted on-line. An on-line subscription to the Irregular would make a great gift for someone who can't tear themselves away from their computer, or doesn't want to wait for their print edition to come in the mail. We're not sure how many trees it takes to produce one issue of the Irregular, but an on-line gift subscription would certainly win the hearts of those environmentally conscious folks on your Christmas list!

You won't, however, need a subscription to view our: Advertising, Classifieds, Archives, Photo Galleries, Western Mountain Activities (calendar), Obituaries, and About Us. Also, you can subscribe to our online and/or print version of the Irregular, place a classified ad and order reprints directly from our Web site anytime.

We have some great photo gift items available as well, such as photo mugs, mouse pads, deck of cards, puzzles and more. Check it out! If there is a photo that appeared in the Irregular before our Oct. 8, 2008 issue, we can upload it to the photo gallery for you and you can place your order from there.

We are in the process of adding a couple of new sections to our Web site: "BackTracks: Irregular Gems" which will be unique stories & photos we find in early issues of the Irregular; and "Student Inspiration Corner" which will be dedicated to local students' creative writing and art work.
