STRATTON — The Stratton Downtown Tree-lighting and Holiday Sing-along will be held Saturday, Dec. 6 beginning at 5 p.m.

"Come enjoy the festivities as we kick off the holiday season with the lighting of the tree at the junction of routes 27 & 16, and the singing of Christmas carols," Sarah Strunk, an event organizer, said.

The Stratton Elementary School PTC will have hand-decorated holiday wreaths, swags and kissing balls available for sale —all proceeds to benefit the school. Hot beverages and holiday treats will also be available for purchase.

Organizers expressed special thanks to Cathedral Pines Campground for providing the electricity for this annual holiday tradition and thanks also to Diamond Corner Bed & Breakfast for welcoming attendees to their property to celebrate.
