The Mt. Abram basketball teams had a chance to warm up for their regular seasons during a fun alumni game last Saturday night. Spectators say some old favorites came back to take on this year's teams. The girls took on some of the gold ball winners, Morgan Cummings, Brittany York, Stephanie Coburn, Janessa Thomas and Logan Walker along with a few other past Mt. Abram stars. The "gold ball" girls hadn't lost their touch and beat this year's team, but not by much. Scott Dixon from the class of 1983, Chris Smith, Ben Ladd, Jeff Lampron and several others showed up to take on this year's boys' team. They played neck-and-neck through the whole game. Both games were fun to watch and warmed us up for the first home game which is Monday, Dec. 8.

Some of you may have been following our new Rear View and noticed that we are missing quite a few issue from the early years. In fact the very first issues are among those missing in action. Also, you'll note that between this week and last, we are missing more that two years' worth. If any of you have some of these missing issues, we'd love to see them and photocopy for our archive. Just stop by our Main Street Kingfield office Tuesday through Friday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and share your loot with us!
