$1000 donation completes roof

 Stratton School's principal, Lorrie Arruda (right), looks on as Linda Shane (left), branch manager of Camden National Bank in Stratton presents Kim Kearing, the Stratton School Playground Committee chair, with a $1,000 donation. It will help with the completion of the Performing Arts Gazebo. The gazebo project was started last year with donated funds and volunteer work. As the work progressed, the cost of building materials jumped. The donation helped complete the cedar shake roof, the final phase of the structure. (Steve Mitman photo) |
