The right fit

Mike "Bucky" Buxton from the Sugarloaf Rental Shop measures Strong School fourth grade student Jonny May for the annual ski-skate program. The program has been promoting lifelong winter recreation activities for MSAD 58 kids for over two decades. Students have a choice of ice skating, Nordic skiing, Alpine skiing or snowboarding and receive rentals, lessons, cookies and hot chocolate for four sessions during the winter. The fees are greatly reduced, and there are funds available for those who would not be able to attend because of the cost (see press release at right). The purpose of the program is to help local children enjoy winters sports at the wonderful resource we have right in our back yard.
