DALLAS PLANTATION - - The push is on as Saddleback has opened the snowmaking flood gates and prepares for the first day of the season on Saturday, Dec. 13. Over a foot of natural snow has blanketed the trails and glade areas setting the base for winter fun ahead.

Some new faces are at the resort representing the Saddleback staff this year and will be delighted to greet the skiers and riders as this season kicks off.

Also some new enhancements have been made this off-season as part of Saddleback's 10-year plan.

Sunday, Dec. 14 is Maine Day when residents pay just $25 for lift tickets or nearly half the cost of a full daypass.
