Flags for Kingfield Committee adds new street
      KINGFIELD — The Kingfield POPS Festival of the Arts and The Kingfield Days committees are making plans to fly flags down School Street. This will add another 14 flags to the 75 already flying on Route 27 through town. The committees expressed their desire to thank everyone who has taken part in the flag program this year.

Low flight proposal draws resident opposition
      FRANKLIN COUNTY - - Members of the Massachusetts Air National Guard's 104th Fighter Wing located in the Otis Air Force Base in Cape Cod, held their fifth and final public meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 2 in Farmington. These pilots have trained in this area for over 40 years using F-15 military fighter jets and have been joined by the 158th FW F-16 pilots out of Burlington, Vt.
