KINGFIELD — If you are looking to share Christmas cheer with an elderly person in THE community, take a "adopt a grandparent" tag off the giving tree at the post office in Kingfield. The tag represents one older person in THE community who receives a monthly meal through Bridging the Gap program.

Dec. 20 as the group brings the meals around, they want to include some small presents for each of the elderly folks to let them know others care. The kinds of gifts that anyone can make or buy are things from blankets to homemade treats.
