Sales to benefit Casting for Recovery

2008-12-10

CARRABASSETT VALLEY — Celebrating 20 years of jewelry at Sugarloaf Mountain, Gold/Smith Gallery and Harvest Gold Jewelry Company are teaming up again this season with a selection of handcrafted jewelry in time for the holidays.

Lynda and Bill have been showing their hand-fabricated gold jewelry at Gold/Smith Gallery for 20 years and counting. Their collection of Harvest Gold Jewelry exhibits over 25 years of gold jewelry designs accented with Maine tourmaline, freshwater pearls, diamonds and other fine gems.

This year Harvest Gold will be donating a portion of the profits from the sales of their "Tree of Life" jewelry towards Bonnie Holding's Maine retreat for Casting For Recovery.

Casting For Recovery benefits women who have or have had breast cancer and their continuing journey to wellness.

The "Tree of Life" jewelry includes earrings, pendants, rings and bracelets with the hand-pierced design of the tree.

Staff at the gallery urge the public to see what's new with the special 20-year collection of Harvest Gold Jewelry, Dec. 13 and 14.
