Heather Gilmore and Terrance Tyler were married this past August. SANFORD — Heather Mary Gilmore Tyler, of Kingfield, and Terrence P. Tyler Jr., of Avon, were married Aug. 9 at the Richard Bell Interfaith Chapel in Carrabassett Valley with the Rev. Marriott Churchill officiating.

The Matron of Honor was Shannon Gilmore, and Curtis Tyler was the Best Man.

The bridesmaids were Andrea McClure, Jennifer Cooley, Nicole Lane, Celena Tyler and Elise Presby.

The Groomsmen were James Beedy, Mahlon Presby, Kael Knapp and Richard Haines. Finley Alsobrook was the Ring Bearer.

The reception was held at Ira Mountain in Kingfield, and the couple honeymooned at Niagara Falls.

Heather Tyler, the daughter of Louise and Michael Gilmore of Freeman, was a 2001 graduate of Mt. Abram High School, a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono and is pursuing her Master's Degree at USM. She is a Guidance Counselor at Noble High School.

Terrence Tyler, the son of Jenny Presby of Avon and Terry Tyler of Strong, is also a 2001 Mt. Abram graduate and a 2005 UMO graduate. He is a mechanical engineer for Pratt and Whitney.

The couple resides in Sanford.
