Fletcher, Bell engaged

James Fletcher and Faith Bell have become engaged. MOUNT DESERT ISLAND — Mount Desert Island was the setting recently for the engagement of Faith Angela Bell and James Burton Fletcher. Bell is the daughter of John and Jan Bell of Farmington and Fletcher is the son of Bryan and Francine Fletcher of New Vineyard.

On top of Mt. Cadillac, on bent knees and armed with roses, Fletcher asked Bell to be his beloved wife. They have known each other since childhood, going to church and Christian school together. Both assert that they have devoted their lives to serving the Lord Jesus Christ and serving him in all they do.

Bell is employed at Franklin Health Pediatrics as a receptionist, and Fletcher works at the family business, Bryan's Auto Body.

A Feb. 14, 2009 wedding is planned at the New Life Community Church in New Vineyard.
