KINGFIELD — The Kingfield POPS Festival of the Arts and The Kingfield Days committees are making plans to fly flags down School Street. This will add another 14 flags to the 75 already flying on Route 27 through town.

The committees expressed their desire to thank everyone who has taken part in the flag program this year. They have one flag left from the original amount that has not been designated in honor of or memory of a specific person. And now they have added an additional 14. The list of donors and the honorees have been posted in The Camden National Bank vestibule in a series of frames.

To make a donation or give a flag in honor of or memory of a loved one, make a check for $38 payable to: Kingfield Pops Downtown-Flags, and include a sheet with the name of the person to be honored and the giver.

Flags can be purchased at Camden National Bank, or mail the above information to: Patricia Johnson, 421 Tufts Pond Road, Kingfield.
