The Sugarloaf Explorer started shuttle service connecting skiers, riders and workers from Kingfield with Sugarloaf Mountain last week. The service will continue the rest of the vacation week and run every weekend until the end of March including each day of the February school vacation week. The shuttle is free of charge to local residents and departs Kingfield at 7:30 a.m. and leaves the base lodge at 3:30 p.m. returning to Kingfield at 4:00 p.m. The service is made possible through funding from the Kingfield Recreation Department and local contributions from organizations such as the Sugarloaf Mountain Ski Club.
