United States Customs and Border Protection
Officials at the United States Border and Customs at Coburn Gore had a relatively quiet week according to officials there. There were over 600 vehicles a day that came across the border from Canada with only about 36 commercial trucks from the ever present lime trucks; this is due, said officials, to the fact that the paper companies and the recovery industry still requests a lot of lime at their facilities.
The exchange rate still favors the Americans so this is the time said the U.S. Custom officials to head north and shop in Canada as long as you declare your purchases when you head into the United States.
