As the Ski Turns

The next time you stop by Tranten's Too, be sure to ask proud new grandpa, Vince Parsons about his first grandchild born on New Year's Day. Vince just lights up when talking about new little Cole Vincent Bailey. Congratulations to parents Donica and Bill and to the happy grandparents!

Oops... last week we wrote that the Webster Free Library computer course began that day, but in reality, it begins today. It's possible that the class isn't filled yet —but there's room for only 10— so if you're a senior with little or no computer experience, but an interest, call 265-2052 or 265-4161.

Like the headlines say, "blood need takes no vacations," so stop by the Sugarloaf Inn Friday, between 12 and 5 p.m. and give one last gift for the season. All blood types are needed, and nearly everyone is eligible to give. Appointments are best (call Cheryl at 237-6903 or the Red Cross at 1-800-448-3543), but drop-ins are OK too! And not only that, but donors and volunteers receive a coupon for a free pound of Dunkin' Donuts coffee!

Be sure to check out Sugarloaf's concerts —the lineup includes some rather impressive bands: www.sugarloaf. com/EventsActivities/concerts.html.
