2009-01-07 / Arts & Entertainment

BELGRADE -— A book fair to support Belgrade Public Library will be held all day Jan. 19 at the Barnes & Noble store, 9 Market Place in Augusta. In an effort to raise funds for books, Belgrade Public Library is working with Barnes & Noble Booksellers by hosting the fair.

Barnes & Noble will donate a percentage of every sale made with the Book Fair voucher to Belgrade Public Library. Vouchers are available on the library Web site at: www.belgrade.lib.me.us and in the library. Shoppers can also mention Belgrade Public Library at checkout to benefit the library.

Local author and Belgrade native Susan Page Davis will sign her mystery and suspense books and talk to readers from 1 to 4 p.m., also Jan. 19 at Barnes & Noble, in conjunction with this event to benefit the library.

For more information about the book fair, contact Marcia Haigh, director of Belgrade Public Library, at 495-3508.
