Student graphic artist acknowledged
The Town of Kingfield is seeking a town logo for its use in the future. In an invitation for creative input from Mt. Abram students, junior artist Lizzy Chenard was the finalist. Her work included town historical significance including the Stanley Steamer, the town's watering hole and other noteworthy significance. Selectmen acknowledged her work as a great beginning of the town's logo search and are hoping that she and others from the general public will continue to develop more concepts using her original designs as motivations. Chenard was awarded a gift certificate for her accomplishments. She has taken several Photoshop courses at Mt. Abram taught by Lori Littlefield. She informs us that she'd like to become a professional graphic artist and is looking at colleges as close as Vermont to pursue her interests. (David Hart photo)
