FARMINGTON — The next contra dance is Valentine's Day at the Fairbanks School Meeting House, 508 Fairbanks Road. just before Route 27 leaves Route 4.

The caller will be Cynthia Phinney and the band, The Racket Factory. All the dances are taught and all are welcome; no partner is necessary. A beginner workshop begins at 7:30 p.m., the dance at 8. The cost is $6 per person and $15 family maximum.
