Energy solution event scheduled

FARMINGTON — Power Now: Energy Solutions for Farms, Homes and Small Businesses, will be held Thursday, March 5, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the University of Maine Farmington's Olsen Student Center.

Participants will learn about common weatherization solutions, practical applications for solar and wind, when geothermal may make sense and payback calculators. Area venders selling and installing renewables in Maine will be present. Panel presentations begin at 6:15 p.m.

This event is free and open to the public but registration is requested.
