Author Karen Pease to sign novel

PHILLIPS — Karen Bessey Pease, of North New Portland, will be signing copies of her novel, "Grumble Bluff" at the Phillips Public Library Saturday, Feb. 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with coffee and light refreshments served.

"Grumble Bluff" is about two "tween" girls who are both experiencing personal life issues. It is about friendship and how they learn to deal with their problems and laugh again.

Librarian Heddy Langdon noted that there will also be fundraising auction items on display at the library, and the thrift shop upstairs will be open, too.
