Fine Arts Gallery to Open in Kingfield

KINGFIELD -— Friday, Feb. 20 Kingfield welcomes

new art gallery, Reinholt Gallery, to its downtown.

Ian Reinholt of Cornville, and Saskia Reinholt UMF Studio Arts alumni, have spent the last three years finetuning their artistry and craftsmanship on the island of Lanai, Hawaii.

They are pleased to bring their artwork back to the state of Maine. Ian, a custom furniture maker, and Saskia, a fine artist who works in oils and stained glass, plan to present their work and the work of seven other local artists at a reception on Friday, Feb. 20 from four to nine p.m. at the Reinholt Gallery, 245 Main Street.

"I am really happy to have been able to create and study artwork throughout the United States and Europe. I am even more excited to bring what I have learned and my passion for the arts back to this state in an effort to raise awareness about the arts in Maine and provide a venue to showcase the many talents in this area," Saskia says.

Press media and the public are all invited to attend the opening. The gallery will be open all day Friday as well.
