CARRABASSETT VALLEY — The Raffle for Reading is a fund raising event to support the new Carrabassett Valley Public Library & Community Center. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20 and may be purchased at the following places: CV Public Library (235-2211), Anti-Gravity Complex, Guest Services at the Base Lodge and Sugarloaf Childcare Centers.

Seth Wescott films, jewelry, Sugarloaf Mountain greens fees and ski tickets are just a few of the items on the list of over 50 prizes available. A full list of the items can be found at www.carrabassettvalley.org (click on library link).

"Please support this great cause by buying a ticket today!" Kim Kearing, a library building committee member, urged.

The drawing date is Saturday, Feb. 28 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Sugarloaf Inn. The plans for the new library will be showcased while opportunities to bid on unique silent auction items are offered.

"Join us for a happy hour full of excitement!" Kearing said.
