STRATTON — It's that time of year for the Annual Kids' Basketball Tournaments.

During the week of Feb. 23 to 27, third through fifth graders at the Stratton Elementary School will be training for a tournament game.

On Friday, Feb. 27, 3rd through 5th graders will participate in a co-ed scrimmage against each other. This event is run to raise money for Sports Camp Scholarships for Stratton elementary 5th through 7th graders. Athletes wishing to attend a sports camp may apply in May with proof of requested camp application for up to $100.

Special appearances will be made by "Kick'n Kirk Williams," "Leaping Linda Lowell," "Maniac Matt Ryan" and others.

Each participant will receive a prize bag and drawings will be made throughout the tournament.

"Come on out and cheer on your favorite Bobcat!" an organizer for the event said.
