Father/Daughter dances planned
PHILLIPS & JAY — The Franklin County Children's Task Force will this year be holding two simultaneous Father Daughter Dances on Saturday, March 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. One dance will take place at the Jay High School Cafeteria, and the other will take place in the more northern area of Franklin County at the Phillips Middle School. The music will be provided by DJs Chelsea Hutchinson and Steve and Leslie Bull.
Dances are sponsored in part by Otis Federal Credit Union and The Opportunity Center of North Franklin County. Anyone wishing to purchase advance tickets may do so at Mickey's Hallmark in Farmington, The Flower Barn and Riverside Quick Stop in Jay, Edmunds in Phillips, Fotters Market in Stratton, The White Elephant in Strong, Rangeley IGA in Rangeley or Tranten's Market in Kingfield.
One ticket covers both father and his daughter(s). The cost for tickets is $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
