A senior and high honors student at Carrabassett Valley Academy, Darienzzo secured the series top distinction by scoring the most points throughout the season in all events and all disciplines.
"Dylan is an extremely well rounded snowboarder, a tremendous asset to our program. He's a consistent rider who has been stepping up his riding each year and brings strong leadership and encouragement to our entire team," CVA Snowboard Program Manager, Barry Tripp said.
In addition to his success in USASA events, Dari- enzzo has participated at the USSA Revolution Tour stops this season at Copper Mountain, Col., Boreal, Calif. and Mt. Hood, Ore.
A hometown advantage for the final leg of the Revolution Tour at Sugarloaf should play in Darienzzo's favor. Strong Boardercross results from last year qualified him for the US Grand Prix in Boreal, Calif.
A trip to Copper Mountain, Colo. to USASA Nationals in April to compete against the top snowboarders across the country caps off Darienzzo's season this year.
