FRANKLIN COUNTY — Franklin County lady softball players age 16 and under are invited to sign up for the new Franklin County Babe Ruth Softball League.

The league will hold signups on the following dates and locations:

March 17 at the Livermore Falls High School gymnasium from 6 to 7 p.m.; March 18 at the Strong School gymnasium from 6 to 7 p.m.; March 19 at the Mt. Blue High School cafeteria from 6 to 7 p.m.

This new league will offer youth softball team play for girls ages 16 and under. There is a registration fee for participation in this league.

Organizers are looking for participants and potential coaches.
