Titcomb Mountain closing for season March 15 But not without an "end-of-season-hurrah"! WEST FARMINGTON -- Titcomb Mountain is finishing up its season and will close on Sunday, March 15. As of March 9, the resort received over 96 inches of snow this season and the alpine slopes and Nordic trails have good conditions.
The final weekend will include the annual event and spectator favorite, Downhill Dummy Competition on Saturday, March 14. The event will start at 1 p.m. with judging of the "dummies" for two categories, originality and workmanship. The downhill portion of the event will start at 2 p.m. and the participants will be judged on longest distance, most spectacular crash, jump distance and jump crash.
Titcomb Mountain will be open for regular hours, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Here is a schedule:
Saturday, March 14
Open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
1 p.m. -- "Dummy Downhill" Judging
2 p.m. -- "Dummy Downhill" Competition
4 to 8 p.m. -- Night Skiing Special, Only $10 for lift ticket for all ages
Sunday, March 15
Open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Final Day Special -- Alpine Full Day Lift Tickets: Adults $15, Young Adults & Juniors $10
Final Day Special -- Nordic Trail Pass: Adults $8, Young Adults & Juniors $5
