Paul Roger Benoit
1958-2009 — He will be missed by all who knew him
FARMINGTON — Paul R. Benoit, 50 of Coplin Plantation, died Friday, March 6, 2009 at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington after a short illness.
Born Nov. 19, 1958 in Holden, Mass., he was the son of Myron and Carol (Fahrner) Benoit. Paul attended Holden schools and was a graduate of Worcester Industrial Technical High School. He worked as a cabinetmaker several years before moving to York, where he and friend, Dan Burke started a printing company called Seahorse Graphics. They ran a successful business for many years servicing the seacoast area.
After they sold the business in 1990, Paul moved to Hedgehog Village in Coplin Plantation and got his beloved dog Zeke. Paul attended school for his CDL license and drove trucks around the country for a few years. For about the past eight years, he was a volunteer driver for Community Concepts in Farmington. A service Paul truly enjoyed.
Survivors include his father, Myron; step-mother, Ellie; three brothers, David, Jim and Tom; two stepbrothers, Bob and Rick; three step-sisters, Nancy, Debbie and Kathy; and best friend, his dog, Jake. Plus many extended family members and numerous friends. He will be missed by all that knew him.
He was predeceased by his mother, Carol.
There will be a Memorial Service at a later date at the convenience of the family in Massachusetts. A Celebration of Life for Paul will be held locally at a later date.
