1964-2009 — A Rangeley native, he worked at Stratton Lumber and Saddleback

RANGELEY — Eric "Cuffy" Lee Savage, 44, of Rangeley, passed away on March 13, 2009.

Born in Rangeley, July 21, 1964, he was the son of Frederick V. Savage and Carole V. Sherwood. He worked at Stratton Lumber and then at Saddleback Mountain Ski Resort. Eric enjoyed playing cards, cookouts, social times and spending time with family.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Carole and Dan Sherwood of Rangeley; brother Kendrick and his wife, Karalee, of Rangeley and brother Roderick of Lewiston; sister Olive and her husband, Colm Bruce, of Deer Isle; stepbrother Joel Sherwood of Scarborough; stepsister Rebecca and her husband, Phil Doughty, of Topsham; a favorite aunt and uncle, Shirley and Reynold Savage; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He also leaves behind many, many friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Frederick; stepmother, Linda; and brother, Cedric.

There will be a celebration of life cookout in the spring at the convenience of his family.
