Public speakers move on

 The Strong school Public Speaking Contest was held on Thursday, March 26. Moving on to the District Public Speaking Contest from Strong will be (left to right) Holland Corson, 2nd place; Arthur Ryan, 1st place; and Patia Jellison, 3rd place. Students from grades 5 through 8 may compete at their individual schools in MSAD #58 and from there the top three finishers will compete at the district level on April 9 at 7 p.m. in the Mt. Abram High School cafeteria. The public is invited to attend. |
