 Last week Decodah Brown and Jay Ruggiero took part in the annual biathlon where Kingfield Elementary students tested their Nordic skiing skills as well as their marksmanship. Here Brown (left) and Ruggerio hit targets with a paintball marker under the guidance of teachers Tom McLaughlin and Marco Aliberti. Danya Vandry won the event for the Kingfield girls with Rosenberg coming in second and Sarah Burbank third. James was the overall winner and took a first place finish for the Phillips team. On the boys end, Thomas Faraday took the top spot on the podium. Patrick Banahan was second with Decodah Brown taking the final spot on the podium. (David Hart photo) |
