Carla D. Pinkham
KINGFIELD — Carla D. Pinkham, 58, died unexpectedly April 8, 2009 at her home in Kingfield.
She was born Sept. 12, 1950 in Phillips. She was educated in the schools of Phillips. On Oct. 2, 1999, she married Daniel Pinkham in Lexington Plantation at Happy Horse Shoe Camp Grounds.
She worked for MBNA in Farmington, local wood mills in Kingfield, was a substitute teacher at MSAD #58 and also worked as a secretary for Pinkham Electric.
Carla loved homemaking, entertaining, enjoyed being with her family and gardening.
She is survived by her husband Danny Pinkham of Kingfield; granddaughter, Mikayla Lisherness; two sons, Anthony "Tony" Dustin and his fiancé, Jill Jurgins, of Chesapeake, Va., David Lisherness and his fiancé, Sonya Burdin, of Kingfield; two step-sons, Craig Pinkham and his wife, Kim, and their daughter, Lauren of New Vineyard, Dano Pinkham and his wife, Kate, of Chicago, Ill; three brothers, Alman Deming of Portland, Marcus Deming of Wilton, Robin Smith of Avon; two sisters, Penny Ross of Venezuela, Melissa Dorey of East Jay; two sisters-in-law, Eunice Chase of Kingfield, Lynda Pinkham of Kingfield; two brothers-in-law, Albert Woods of Kingfield and David Pinkham of Kingfield; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents, Hayden and Ferris Destin; sister, Patsy Wood; and mother, Belle Smith.
Visitation hours were Monday, April 13 at the Kingfield Methodist Church followed by funeral services with Pastor Connie Maginnis officiating. Interment will be in the Lexington Flats Cemetery, Long Falls Dam Road, Lexington Township, Maine later in the spring.
